Your site is checked for security issues and downtime, so problems are caught early.
Backups
Regular backups of your site and its content, so it can be restored if something goes wrong.
A short monthly report
A plain summary of what was updated, what was fixed, and how your hours were used.

How it works.
Step 1: Choose a package
Pick Essentials, Growth, or Priority below, monthly or on a 3-month term. If you are unsure, contact me first.
Step 2: Subscribe online
Checkout is handled securely by Stripe. You can pay by card and start right away.
Step 3: Onboarding
I email you within one business day to collect site access and confirm your start date.
Step 4: Initial review
I review your site, updates, backups, and security, and tell you about anything that needs attention.
Step 5: Ongoing care
Updates, monitoring, and backups run every month. Send requests by email and I work through them using your hours.
Step 6: Monthly report
You get a short report each month, so you always know what was done.

Why Reddogdesigns.
You deal with me directly, not a ticket queue. I provide ongoing website maintenance and support for Volleyball BC, and I look after sites on WordPress, Craft CMS, and Shopify. Because I build websites as well as maintain them, your hours can go toward real improvements as well as fixes.
25 years building for the web
I have run Reddogdesigns since 2001 and have seen most of the ways a web project can go wrong, so I plan around them from day one. As a senior UX/UI designer and front-end developer, I do the design and the code myself, so nothing gets lost in a handoff.

The short version of the terms
- Cancel at least 14 days before your next billing date.
- Unused hours do not carry over. They expire at the end of each month.
- Extra work beyond your monthly hours is billed at your package's effective hourly rate.
- 3-month terms are billed every 3 months in advance and renew automatically for another 3 months unless cancelled at least 14 days before renewal.
- All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD).

What is included in a website maintenance plan?
Every package includes platform, plugin, and security updates; security monitoring and uptime checks; backups; a short monthly report; and the package hours for fixes, content changes, small improvements, or automation work.
What happens to unused hours?
Unused hours do not carry over. They expire at the end of each month.
How much do the maintenance plans cost?
Essentials is $500/month. Growth is $1,000/month, or $950/month billed $2,850 every 3 months on a 3-month term. Priority is $2,000/month, or $1,800/month billed $5,400 every 3 months on a 3-month term. Custom plans are quoted. All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD).
Can I change packages?
Yes. Contact me and we can move you to a different package from your next billing date.
How do I cancel?
Cancel at least 14 days before your next billing date. 3-month terms renew automatically for another 3 months unless you cancel at least 14 days before renewal. There are no refunds for the current period.
Do you maintain sites you did not build?
Yes. I start with a review of the site, its hosting, and its plugins so I know what I am looking after. If anything needs urgent work, I will tell you and we can agree a plan.
Which platforms do you support?
Craft CMS, WordPress, and Shopify. If your site runs on something else, contact me before subscribing.
What if I need more hours one month?
Extra work beyond your monthly hours is billed at your package's effective hourly rate. If you regularly need more, a larger package is better value.
